WHAT OUR RUNNERS SAY ABOUT SPEEDIE RUNNING

I cannot say enough about working with Sandie this past year as my coach. She helped me work through a tough injury and come out the other side with a PR in the half marathon and complete my first ultra. She tailored a plan just for me and my hectic schedule as a full time working mom and wife. She is patient, encouraging, and understanding and will help you meet you goals whatever and however crazy they may be.

I was super nervous to run my first marathon. I am a mother of two small children and work at a hospital where my schedule was never the same. I was also never consider myself as a long distance runner. My exercises usually consisted of 30 minutes at home workout videos. Sandie worked with my schedule to get me ready for the marathon at my own pace. I loved her workouts. Her workouts were always challenging but manageable. They helped you get mentally as well as physically ready to run 26.2 miles. She also helped me with my belly issues. She recommended different gels and foods to help me prep for the marathon. If I had any soreness or pain, she showed different stretching exercises or recommended new shoes. My training experience let me run my first marathon with such ease and confidence. I was able to smile and laugh even when it got tough at the end. I look forward to having Sandie as my coach in the future. I know with her help I will be able to PR on my 2nd marathon!

Sandie became my running coach several years ago but we really ramped up training after the birth of my son. Since then, I have BQd and set many PRs along the way. She’s always been very understanding and flexible for to my needs as a mother runner. Always willing to tweak and shuffle workouts around when I need to run with a stroller or on the treadmill.

Sandie doesn’t just give you weekly workouts but she is also knowledgeable on the mental side of racing as well as overall strengthening. Training with her has been a great overall experience! Highly recommend her!
